Dear Readers,

Welcome to the 2024 edition of the Digital-IN Newsletter! Our consortium has been dedicated to bridging the digital skills gap faced by seniors and small business owners in Greece, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, and Lithuania.

This year has been marked by significant achievements, including:

Five National Needs Analysis Reports: These comprehensive documents synthesize insights from extensive research, in-depth interviews, and thorough surveys, identifying critical digital skills gaps among vulnerable groups in our partner countries.

The Comparative Report: This document focuses on enhancing digital literacy across Europe, specifically targeting digitally vulnerable groups (DVGs) such as seniors and small business owners. By integrating findings from national studies, this report highlights digital gaps and promotes inclusivity through strategic education and digital empowerment.

The Digital-IN Manual: This resource provides valuable guidelines for digital inclusion educators and stakeholders. It offers practical recommendations for adapting existing digital literacy training or developing new programs that effectively address the needs of digitally vulnerable learners.

Furthermore, the consortium successfully organized three local dissemination events in Italy, Cyprus, and Lithuania, attracting approximately 150 participants. Additionally, four online local events held in Greece, Lithuania, and Italy reached around 80 attendees, fostering connections with other organizations involved in similar themes at both national and European levels. Finally, a transnational event took place in Brussels, featuring a specialized workshop focused on developing digital skills for seniors and small business owners, with experts in digital inclusion.

Thank you for your continued support and engagement in our mission to empower individuals and foster digital inclusion across Europe.
